LTE: For First-Time Voters, Leadership Like This Matters
This year, I get to vote for the very first time, and instead of feeling cynical or disconnected, I’m genuinely excited. That excitement comes from having a candidate like Josh Boschee running for Mayor of Fargo.
I’ve known Josh my entire life, and to me, he’s never just been a politician. He’s someone who listens, who shows up, and who genuinely cares about people. Growing up, it mattered to see an adult leader who made people feel safe, valued, and included simply by being himself.
Josh reflects the kind of leadership people my age are looking for. We want leaders who are authentic, connected to their community, and willing to bring people into decisions rather than shutting them out.
For first-time voters thinking about the future of Fargo, Josh Boschee is the kind of leader who makes politics feel hopeful and worth engaging in. I’m proud that my first vote gets to be for someone I truly believe in. I hope you’ll join me.
